I'm kinda stuck in a weird spot... imagine you've been seeing the same orthodontist for almost a year, braces on, everything going okay-ish. But lately, appointments feel rushed and questions brushed off, you know? Hypothetically, if you started feeling uneasy about your ortho halfway through treatment, would you stick it out or risk switching to someone else? Curious how others would handle this.

Ugh, that's tough... been there myself. Honestly, switching mid-treatment isn't as scary as it seems—your comfort matters, and feeling heard is a big deal, especially when it's your teeth we're talking about! I'd suggest at least getting a second opinion. A fresh set of eyes can either reassure you or confirm your gut feeling. Either way, trust your instincts; you deserve care that feels right.

Yeah, had a similar issue with my son's ortho last year... felt like we were just another number. Switched mid-treatment and honestly, best decision we made. Less stress, clearer communication, and he's happier overall. Worth considering imo.
