"some days it feels like glaciers move faster than my teeth."

Haha, I feel this deeplyβ€”pretty sure I've seen paint dry quicker than my underbite correction. I briefly considered a second opinion too, especially when progress felt nonexistent. But honestly, the thought of extra consultation fees made me stick it out. Turned out my ortho was just playing the long game cautiously, and things eventually shifted into gear. Hang in there...slow and steady (and budget-friendly) wins the race, right?

Totally get the frustrationβ€”been there myself. Teeth move in phases, sometimes barely noticeable for months, then suddenly you see real progress. It's annoying, but trust me, patience pays off...your bite will thank you later.

This is so true. I remember staring in the mirror every single day wondering if anything was changing at all...felt like watching paint dry, honestly. Then one morning, boomβ€”my bite actually felt different, and my teeth lined up way better. Hang in there, it's a marathon not a sprint. Before you know it, you'll be wondering where your underbite went and smiling more confidently than ever.

Totally relate to that feeling of staring in the mirror and wondering if anything's actually happening. I swear, some days it felt like my teeth were just trolling me, lol. But yeah, eventually things clicked into place, and it was such a relief. Did anyone else notice their teeth feeling kinda loose or sensitive right before a big shift happened? Always wondered if that was just me...

Haha, totally! I remember one morning biting into a bagel and thinking my front tooth was about to peace out on me. Freaked me out big time, but turns out it was just my teeth gearing up for the next big move. It's like they loosen up to psych you out before finally cooperating... classic teeth trolling behavior. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this weirdness.
