We had the same issue with yogurt—it was just too thick and kinda stuck around the stitches, making things uncomfortable. Switching to Greek yogurt and thinning it out with a bit of milk or almond milk helped a lot... made the texture smoother and easier to manage.

I totally get what you're saying about yogurt texture—had the same struggle after my graft. Regular yogurt was just too gloopy and stuck everywhere, especially around stitches...ugh. I actually found Greek yogurt a bit too thick personally, even thinned out. What worked better for me was blending regular yogurt with frozen fruit and almond milk into a smoothie. It was cold, soothing, and thin enough to sip without bothering the stitches. Might be worth a try if you're still uncomfortable?

Totally relate to the yogurt struggle—texture is everything when your mouth feels like a construction zone, haha. Have you tried kefir? It's thinner than regular yogurt and has that tangy taste without being gloopy or thick. I found it easier to sip slowly, and it didn't cling around stitches as much. Smoothies are great too, but sometimes blending felt like too much effort when I was sore...just pouring kefir straight from the bottle was my lazy-day lifesaver. Might be worth checking out if smoothies get tiring?

Kefir's a good shout, actually. I found cold soups helpful too—like gazpacho or chilled cucumber soup. Sounds weird, but they're refreshing and easy to sip without irritating stitches. Might be worth a try if kefir gets boring...

Interesting suggestion—I hadn't considered chilled soups before, mostly because I assumed they'd be expensive or complicated to prepare. Did you find gazpacho ingredients budget-friendly and easy to source? I'm a bit cautious about trying new foods post-surgery, especially since my pain levels have been unpredictable. Wondering if anyone else found certain cold soups gentler on the stomach than others...
