Getting braces off next week, and I keep thinking, what if I threw a mini party or something silly like that...is that weird? Curious how you guys would celebrate this kinda milestone, lol.

Not weird at all, honestly. When I got mine off (after almost three years, ugh), I didn't exactly throw a party, but I did treat myself to a huge caramel apple—something I'd been craving forever but couldn't eat with braces. It felt like a mini celebration just for me, you know? Have you thought about doing something similar, like indulging in a food you've missed or maybe taking some fun photos to show off your new smile? It's a big deal, and you deserve to mark it somehow. What kind of stuff did you miss most while you had braces?

Honestly, popcorn at the movies. I avoided it completely because I was paranoid about breaking a bracket. Maybe I'll finally get some next movie night...simple, cheap, and kinda celebratory without going overboard.

Popcorn's good, but honestly I was way more worried about caramel or chewy candies. Even now, post-braces, I still hesitate before biting into anything sticky...old habits die hard, I guess.
