When I first got my braces off, I kept running my tongue over my teeth like every five seconds, lol. One thing that helped me adjust was chewing sugar-free gum—it kinda retrained my mouth muscles. Anyone else got handy tips or hacks?

Haha, wish I'd thought of that! Honestly though, gum didn't really do it for me. I kept accidentally biting my cheek because my teeth felt so weirdly smooth and unfamiliar. What actually helped was munching on crunchy stuff like carrots or apples—cheap and healthy too, win-win. Plus, it distracted me from obsessively checking my reflection every five minutes...which was becoming a problem, lol.
