After what feels like foreverrr, I'm finally getting my braces off next week. Seriously can't wait to eat popcorn without it getting stuck everywhere, lol. Anyway, was thinking it'd be cool to mark the occasion somehow...you know, something a bit special or silly even. Maybe a party or a funny photoshoot? Idk, open to any suggestions if you've celebrated or seen someone else do something fun or creative.

Haha, congrats! I remember when I got mine off, I went straight for caramel apples—probably not the smartest move, but sooo worth it after years of avoiding sticky stuff. A friend of mine did a goofy "before and after" photoshoot with exaggerated smiles and silly props like giant toothbrushes and fake teeth. It was hilarious and didn't cost much at all. Maybe something like that could be fun? Are you planning to frame your first braces-free pic or anything?

Haha, caramel apples sound risky—I went straight for popcorn myself. Honestly, the best part was just running my tongue over smooth teeth again...weirdly satisfying after years of metal brackets. I like the goofy photoshoot idea, though personally I'd probably cringe at framing mine. Maybe just keep it tucked away for laughs later? Either way, definitely document it somehow—it's a milestone worth remembering.

Haha, totally agree—caramel apples are definitely a bold move right after braces. Popcorn's a classic choice, just make sure to floss afterward (sorry, dental habits die hard...). I love the goofy photoshoot idea too, even if you don't frame it. Maybe you could do a quick before-and-after snapshot just for yourself? It's pretty rewarding to see how far you've come, especially if your orthodontist has some early photos on file to compare.

One thing I'd suggest is treating yourself to a professional dental cleaning or whitening session afterward. Not exactly "fun" in the traditional sense, but trust me, having your teeth professionally polished after braces come off feels amazing and really highlights your new smile. Plus, it's a nice confidence boost moving forward.

Whatever you choose, congrats on finally getting them off—it's definitely something worth celebrating.
