Just read somewhere that chewing gum can actually help your brain adjust faster when you're dealing with new routines or environments... sounds kinda random, but maybe there's something to it? Anyone tried this or heard similar things?

I've actually come across some research suggesting that chewing gum can boost alertness and concentration temporarily... something about increased blood flow to the brain. Not sure it'd help me adapt quicker to new routines, but hey, worth a shot if it makes meetings less boring.
