Okay, so I've always had this weird issue with oral sprays—every time I'd try one, I'd end up coughing or gagging, and it was just embarrassing. But recently I stumbled onto a trick: spraying it onto the inside of my cheek instead of directly onto my tongue or throat. Sounds simple, but it totally changed things for me. Now I can actually use them comfortably, and my breath stays fresh way longer. Curious if anyone else has found little tricks or hacks that made oral sprays work better for them?

That's actually a pretty smart workaround. I've had similar issues—not exactly gagging, but definitely uncomfortable coughing fits. Might give your cheek trick a shot next time... thanks for sharing!

I've had the coughing issue too, especially with those minty sprays... feels like my throat just rebels. Usually I angle it toward the inside of my cheek instead of straight back—that seems to help a bit. Never thought about consciously pressing into my cheek though, might try that next time. Glad it's not just me struggling with this stuff, lol.

I've noticed the same thing with my son—those minty sprays seem especially harsh on his throat. Angling toward the cheek definitely helps, but I've also found that having him take a small sip of water beforehand can ease the irritation a bit. Maybe it coats the throat slightly or something? Not entirely sure why it works, but it's made our mornings less of a struggle... Glad to see others figuring out tricks too.

I've had similar issues with sprays, especially those super minty ones. Spraying inside the cheek definitely makes it easier. Also, I've noticed that breathing out slowly through my nose right after spraying helps reduce that initial harshness. Not sure if that's just me or if there's something to it, but it's made things way more comfortable. Glad I'm not alone in this!
