I've been using fluoride rinse nightly after brushing—swish about 30 seconds, spit it out, then don't eat or drink for half an hour. Seems to help, but honestly, is there a better trick out there or am I just wasting my money here?

I've been doing the fluoride rinse thing too for about a year now, and honestly, I think it's made a noticeable difference. My dentist recommended it after I kept getting cavities despite brushing regularly. Since starting, my check-ups have been way better—no new cavities yet (knock on wood). I mean, it's not magic or anything, but it seems worth it to me. Probably depends on your teeth though... everyone's mileage varies a bit with dental stuff.
