So I had a bit of a mishap yesterday—long story short, skateboarding and sidewalks don't mix well, lol. Anyway, ended up chipping one tooth and knocking another one kinda loose. Both hurt, but I'm wondering which one usually heals quicker or easier? I've heard chipped teeth can be sensitive for ages, but loose teeth seem scarier somehow, you know? Anyone had experience with either?

Chipped teeth can definitely stay annoyingly sensitive for a while, especially to cold stuff (ice cream becomes your enemy, trust me...). But honestly, a loose tooth worries me more—seems like it could mean deeper issues. Might wanna get that checked sooner rather than later.

Yeah, totally agree with you there. My daughter chipped her tooth last summer falling off her bike, and while it was sensitive for a good month or two (she still side-eyes popsicles...), the dentist wasn't overly concerned. But when my nephew knocked his tooth loose playing soccer, the dentist wanted to see him ASAP because apparently loose teeth can affect the roots or nerves underneath. Definitely better safe than sorry with that stuff...

Yeah, loose teeth can definitely be trickier. My son knocked his front tooth loose skateboarding, and the dentist said it was important to monitor closely because of potential nerve damage. Chips seem more straightforward—annoying but usually less complicated overall. Still worth checking out though...
