My 6-year-old just took a tumble off his scooter and knocked one of his front teeth clean out. Freaked me out big time, but he's actually pretty calm about it (kids, right?). Anyway, I rinsed it off and put it in milk because I vaguely remember hearing that's what you're supposed to do. But um...now what? Is this something the dentist can fix or is he just gonna have a gap until the adult tooth comes in? Anyone been through this before?

Haha yep, milk's the way to go—good job remembering that! But heads up, dentists usually don't reimplant baby teeth. My niece rocked a gap-toothed grin for a couple years...made for adorable school pics though.
Milk trick's legit, but honestly, I'd skip worrying about reimplanting altogether. When my kid lost a tooth early, the dentist actually said leaving it out was better long-term (and cheaper too, lol). Plus, kids adapt super fast—mine proudly showed off his new "pirate smile" at school. So yeah, milk's cool and all...but sometimes embracing the gap is easier on your wallet and way more fun for the kid.
