are mini implants really enough for long-term dental fixes?

Been thinking about dental implants lately, and stumbled across these mini implants. Like, imagine you lost a tooth or two (knock on wood), and you're considering these smaller implants because they're less invasive, quicker recovery, cheaper... sounds great, right? But I'm kinda skeptical—would they really hold up over the years compared to traditional implants? Curious if anyone here has experience or thoughts on whether they'd trust minis for the long haul or stick with the regular-sized ones.

Totally get your hesitation... dental stuff always makes me anxious too. My aunt got mini implants about five years ago because she was nervous about the whole invasive surgery thing. At first, she loved them—quick recovery, less pain—but lately she's mentioned feeling a bit uncertain if they'll last as long as regular ones. Nothing major yet, but it does make me wonder if traditional implants might be the safer bet long-term...
