I've tried a bunch of those cheaper drugstore brushes too, and honestly, I think spending a bit more is worth it. The cheaper ones always bent or frayed on me after just a couple uses. Recently switched to TePe interdental brushes—yeah, they're pricier, but they hold their shape way better and last longer. Might actually save money in the long run since I'm not tossing them out constantly... Just my two cents.

Totally agree with you on this one. I've seen plenty of patients try to save a few bucks with cheaper brushes, and honestly, most end up frustrated. The TePe ones really do make a difference—they're sturdier, easier to maneuver around implants, and they don't fray nearly as fast. Plus, if you're gentle and rinse them after use, they'll last even longer. Definitely worth the investment if you ask me...your gums (and wallet) will thank you later 😉

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing. Had a patient recently who switched to TePe after struggling with cheaper brushes bending and fraying constantly. She was skeptical at first (understandably, given the price difference), but after a couple weeks she admitted it was a game changer for cleaning around her implants. Curious though—has anyone found a decent alternative that's close in quality but easier on the wallet?

I've been wondering about this too. TePe brushes are great, but the cost adds up over time. I've tried a few cheaper brands myself, and honestly, most were disappointing—either too flimsy or just uncomfortable to use. Has anyone experimented with reusable handles and replaceable brush heads? Seems like it could be a decent compromise between quality and affordability...would love to hear if that's worked for anyone else.

I've tried those reusable handle brushes with replaceable heads, thinking they'd save money in the long run. Honestly though, they weren't as sturdy as I'd hoped—the heads tended to loosen or wobble after a while, which drove me nuts. Have you considered buying TePes in bulk online instead? I've found some pretty good deals that way, and it cuts costs without compromising quality too much...might be worth a look.
