"Those angled floss picks definitely helped us out, but I still get nervous about missing spots or not doing it right."

Totally relate to this. Those angled picks were a game changer for me too, especially since my dentist kept pointing out the same trouble spots at every check-up. Honestly, I still sometimes wonder if I'm getting everything back there...it's like a guessing game half the time.

One thing that helped ease my mind was using one of those plaque-disclosing tablets every now and then. You chew them up after brushing and flossing, and they stain any leftover plaque bright pink or purple. It's kinda gross at first (fair warning!), but it really shows you exactly where you're missing. After doing that a few times, I got way better at targeting those tricky spots.

Also, mouthwash-wise, I've been experimenting lately with alcohol-free rinses. My gums used to feel irritated after using the stronger stuff, so switching made a noticeable difference for me. Anyone else notice sensitivity issues with certain mouthwashes? Curious if it's just me being picky or if others have had similar experiences.

Anyway, sounds like you're already doing greatβ€”just thought I'd toss in what's worked for me in case it helps someone else out there. Keep it up!

I've been using those plaque tablets too, definitely eye-opening at first...didn't realize how much I was missing even after flossing carefully. With mouthwash though, I actually prefer the stronger stuffβ€”feels like it's doing more, even though it stings a bit. But now you got me wondering if that's actually good or just irritating my gums unnecessarily. Has anyone talked to their dentist about whether alcohol-free rinses are actually better, or is it just personal preference?
