Whitening strips vs. sensitive toothpaste for tricky stains?

I get where you’re coming from—my teen went through the same thing. She was desperate to try those strips, but I worried about her enamel too. After a couple uses, she complained about zingers and ended up with faint white blotches that took weeks to fade. Have you noticed if your daughter’s teeth are more sensitive to cold now? We switched to a whitening toothpaste for sensitive teeth, but honestly, it’s like watching paint dry—so slow. Is there even a middle ground that actually works?

I get the frustration—my son had those weird white spots too after strips. But I’m not convinced whitening toothpaste is always that gentle either, especially if she’s brushing hard. Have you looked into in-office treatments? They’re pricier, but supposedly safer for sensitive teeth. I do wonder if some folks just react differently to the same stuff...

We had the same issue—my daughter’s teeth got those chalky spots after strips, and she was super self-conscious. Whitening toothpaste didn’t help much either, and she brushed like she was scrubbing a pan. Dentist suggested the in-office stuff, but wow, the price. I’m starting to think some kids’ teeth just freak out more than others...

Yeah, I hear you on the price of in-office whitening—just not realistic for us either. My teen got those chalky spots too after using strips, and honestly, it made things worse. We switched to a gentle toothpaste and just focused on regular brushing, nothing fancy. Some people’s teeth just react weird, I guess. Haven’t found a cheap fix that actually works for those spots... kinda feels like a lose-lose sometimes.
