Cream cheese sounds interesting—never thought of that. Did you find it made the potatoes too rich though? I stuck mostly to soups and smoothies when things were really rough, but might give your idea a try next time...

Cream cheese can definitely help smooth things out, but yeah, it can get a bit heavy if you overdo it. When I had my wisdom teeth out, I found mixing in some plain Greek yogurt instead gave the potatoes a creamy texture without feeling overly rich. Plus, the yogurt adds protein and probiotics, which can be helpful when you're limited to softer foods. Might be worth trying next time you're stuck on the soft-food train...

Haha, been there! When I got veneers done, my mouth felt like a renovation project for days. My go-to was blending avocado into soups—sounds weird, but hear me out. It adds creaminess without dairy overload and gives you some healthy fats to keep you full. Plus, it's gentle enough not to irritate sensitive gums. Just don't go overboard or you'll end up with guacamole soup... learned that one the hard way.

Avocado soups sound interesting, but honestly, cold smoothies were my lifesaver. Easier to sip through a straw and the chill helped numb the soreness a bit. Plus, blending in some frozen bananas or berries kept things tasty without turning into guac territory...

Smoothies are definitely handy, but personally, I found lukewarm or room-temperature foods easier on my mouth after dental procedures. Cold stuff sometimes triggered sensitivity for me, making the soreness worse rather than numbing it. My dentist actually recommended pureed sweet potatoes or oatmeal—still easy to swallow but gentle enough to avoid irritation. Avocado soups sound intriguing though; might give that a shot next time around...
