Smoothies are definitely gentler for me, especially when my gums feel sensitive. Blending oatmeal with bananas or berries makes it smoother and tastier too. Have you tried adding yogurt or almond milk to thin it out a bit? That usually helps me avoid any sticky textures. Wondering if anyone has other favorite smoothie ingredients that are easy on the mouth...

I've found smoothies helpful too, especially after dental procedures. Personally, avocado has been a lifesaver—it's creamy, mild, and blends smoothly without leaving gritty bits behind. I usually combine it with spinach, almond milk, and a bit of honey to balance the flavors. Yogurt works well too, but sometimes the tanginess irritates my mouth if it's already sensitive... so I tend to go easy on that. Might be worth experimenting cautiously to see how your gums react.

Yeah, yogurt can be tricky for me too—especially if my gums are already sore. Have you tried bananas instead of avocado sometimes? They're usually cheaper and blend up pretty smooth. I get anxious about spending too much on ingredients I'll only use temporarily, so bananas and frozen spinach have been my go-to. Do you find almond milk better than regular milk for sensitivity, or is it just a taste preference?

Bananas are a lifesaver honestly, especially frozen ones—they blend up like ice cream. Almond milk's gentler for me personally, regular milk sometimes leaves my mouth feeling kinda coated. Ever tried coconut milk? It's creamy without the weird aftertaste almond milk can have...

Frozen bananas are a total win, especially when you're trying to convince a kiddo that smoothies count as dessert. 😂 Coconut milk sounds interesting—does it blend smoothly or stay kinda chunky? I tried almond milk once, but my son wasn't a fan...said it tasted like "weird water," whatever that means. We've been sticking mostly to oat milk lately. It's pretty creamy and doesn't leave that coated feeling regular milk does. Have you tried oat milk yet? Curious if coconut milk would be a better switch-up or if it's too strong-tasting for picky eaters.
