Yeah, acidic stuff is tricky. Weirdly enough, I found mashed sweet potatoes with a bit of butter super comforting. Smooth texture, gentle flavor—perfect when your mouth feels like it's been through a blender...

Mashed sweet potatoes sound great—haven't tried that yet. My kiddo struggled with anything hot, even warm soups were a no-go. Did you find room-temp foods easier, or was temperature less of an issue for you?

Temperature wasn't really the issue for us... texture mattered way more. Even room-temp mashed potatoes were tricky. We ended up doing smoothies and yogurt mostly—less chewing, less stress. Maybe worth a shot if soups aren't working?

Totally get the texture thing—it's a big deal. But honestly, temperature was a huge factor for me. Anything too cold made my teeth ache, and warm stuff felt soothing. Weirdly enough, lukewarm oatmeal with a bit of honey worked wonders... soft enough to swallow easily, but still felt like actual food. Smoothies got boring fast, at least for me. Maybe I'm just picky though, haha.

Totally relate to this! I remember after my veneers, room-temp scrambled eggs became my go-to comfort food. Easy to eat, gentle on sensitive teeth, and felt more satisfying than endless smoothies...though I did miss crunchy snacks for a while.
