So I'm scheduled for dental implants next month, and honestly, I'm a little nervous. Heard some people say it's no big deal, others say recovery was rougher than expected. Um, anyone here been through it? Curious about what it's actually like day-to-day after surgery.

Had mine done about two years back. Honestly, the procedure itself wasn’t too bad—you're numb and won't feel much—but the first couple days after were pretty sore. Stock up on soft foods (mashed potatoes were my best friend) and definitely grab some ice packs for swelling. By day three or four, things got way better. Just keep up with the saltwater rinses they recommend; sounds simple but helps a ton.
