my game plan for implant surgery day - am I missing anything?

I'm having dental implants put in next week and trying to get everything organized ahead of time. So far, I've got soft foods stocked up (hello applesauce and yogurt), ice packs ready in the freezer, comfy pillow setup for resting upright-ish, and a few podcasts queued up to distract me. Um, planning to wear loose comfy clothes too...you know, something easy to lounge around in. If anyone's been through this before, did you do anything differently or have any tips that made recovery easier?

Sounds like you've got most bases covered, but honestly, podcasts didn't really work for me - I found myself zoning out too much. Ended up binge-watching some easy sitcoms instead...maybe have a backup Netflix list ready just in case? Good luck!
