"Maybe I molded it wrong? Might give it another shot sometime..."

Could be the molding—I had a similar issue at first. Took me three tries to get mine comfortable enough to sleep through the night. If DIY keeps failing, might be worth checking out a custom one from the dentist...worked wonders for me.

Totally agree about the molding issue. Took me a couple tries too—first one felt like I was chewing on plastic all night, lol. But once I got it right, huge difference. Dentist-made ones are pricier but honestly worth it if DIY keeps failing...

Ugh, glad I'm not the only one who botched the DIY mold the first time. Mine came out looking like some alien mouthpiece... How long did it take before you noticed relief with the dentist-made one? Might finally cave and try it myself.

I totally get the alien mouthpiece thing, lol. My son's DIY mold looked like something straight out of a sci-fi movie, and he hated wearing it. Honestly, we didn't see much improvement until we finally got the dentist-made one. It wasn't instant relief, but after about a week or two, he started waking up without headaches and jaw pain. I was skeptical at first—thought it might be another overpriced dental gadget—but it genuinely made a difference. Plus, the dentist adjusted it a bit after the first fitting, which I think helped a lot. If you're still struggling, I'd say it's worth giving the professional one a shot. Ignoring teeth grinding can lead to bigger issues down the road, like cracked teeth or jaw problems, and trust me, you don't want to deal with that later on...

Yeah, those DIY molds can be pretty rough...mine felt like chewing on a hockey puck, lol. Switching to the dentist-made one was a game changer for me too—took some patience, but totally worth it in the end. Hang in there!
