I’ve always wondered about the night vs. morning thing too. My hygienist once said that scraping at night can help if you’re prone to morning breath, but honestly, I’ve only ever done it in the mornings out of habit. I get what you mean about the copper scrapers—if I don’t dry mine right away, it gets that funky green stuff. Makes me question how “antimicrobial” it really is. Anyone else notice a difference in breath or taste if they scrape more than once a day? Sometimes I feel like twice is just... too much for my mouth.

I’ve actually tried scraping at night and in the morning, but honestly, I can’t tell a huge difference with my breath either way. Maybe I’m just not that sensitive to it? As for copper scrapers, yeah, the green stuff is kind of gross and makes me wonder if I should just stick with stainless steel. Also, when I did twice a day for a while, my tongue felt weirdly raw. Is that just me or does anyone else get that “over-scraped” feeling? Maybe once a day is enough...

I totally get the “raw” feeling—happened to me too when I got a little overzealous with scraping. Once a day seems to be my sweet spot. The green gunk on copper freaks me out a bit, honestly. Does stainless steel stay cleaner for you? Also, have you noticed any difference in taste or just breath? I’m never sure if it’s actually helping or if it’s just in my head...

That green stuff on copper gets me every time—looks like something out of a science fair. I’ve switched to stainless steel, and honestly, it does seem to stay a bit cleaner, but I still give it a rinse with soap every couple days just in case. Taste-wise, I’m not sure I notice a huge difference, but my breath definitely feels fresher. There’s probably a bit of placebo effect, but hey, if it works, it works... Just gotta resist the urge to go overboard and end up with that “raw” tongue again.

I totally get the urge to scrub too much—been there, done that, ended up with a sore tongue for days. Stainless steel really does seem easier to keep clean. Even if some of it’s placebo, feeling fresher is what counts, right?
