I switched to an electric toothbrush about a year ago after my dentist kept nagging me about it, and honestly, it's been a game changer. Teeth feel cleaner, gums healthier, and it even has this timer thingy that makes sure I brush long enough (which apparently I wasn't doing before, oops). But downside is traveling with it—gotta remember the charger and it's kinda bulky. Manual brushes are way easier to toss in a bag and forget about. Curious if anyone has other tips or hacks for making either option better or easier...

I hear you on the travel hassle—mine died mid-trip once, lesson learned. Now I just fully charge it beforehand, skip packing the charger entirely, and keep a manual brush handy as backup. Works pretty well for short trips.

Totally get where you're coming from—traveling with electric brushes can be a pain. Had mine die on me once too, and I felt weirdly guilty switching back to manual mid-trip, haha. But honestly, even with the occasional hassle, I still think electric brushes are worth it. My dentist noticed a real improvement in my gums since I switched. Your backup plan sounds solid though...might borrow that idea next time I'm packing.
