So yesterday my character, Jake, finally got that pesky tooth pulled. But today he's feeling kinda off... weird taste in his mouth, bit swollen, and he's starting to freak out a little. Wondering if I should make this a big deal or just a minor hiccup?

Yeah, I'd definitely lean towards making it a bigger deal. Sounds like Jake might be developing dry socket—had that myself once, and trust me, it's no joke. Better safe than sorry, you know? Maybe have him check back with the dentist just to ease his mind...
