So yesterday my character, Jake, finally got that pesky tooth pulled. But today he's feeling kinda off... weird taste in his mouth, bit swollen, and he's starting to freak out a little. Wondering if I should make this a big deal or just a minor hiccup?

Yeah, I'd definitely lean towards making it a bigger deal. Sounds like Jake might be developing dry socket - had that myself once, and trust me, it's no joke. Better safe than sorry, you know? Maybe have him check back with the dentist just to ease his mind...
