Best toothpaste or tricks for sensitive gums starting to pull back?

That “clean grout” brushing style is way too relatable—my hygienist had a field day showing me all the recession I’d caused. Switching to a pressure-sensing electric brush was a game-changer, but I totally get what you mean about some of those sensitive toothpastes. The film thing bugs me, too. I tried Pronamel for a bit and felt like I needed to brush again just to get rid of that residue.

Honestly, technique seems to matter more than the brand for me. I still use fluoride paste, but I’m careful with the angle and pressure now. One thing I’ve wondered: has anyone tried alternating between regular and sensitive toothpaste? My dentist mentioned it could help if you miss that “fresh” feeling but still want some desensitizing effect.

Also, curious if anyone’s noticed a difference between oscillating vs sonic brushes when it comes to gum comfort? I switched brands recently and my gums seem less irritated, but maybe it’s just coincidence...
