How do you verify replacement heads fit an electric toothbrush?
Replacement heads can be listed as compatible without it being obvious which handle models they fit. What do you check to confirm a head will work with a particular brush, especially when models or product lines have similar names?
I’d also be interested in whether generic heads are a practical option when they’re advertised as compatible, and how people weigh their availability and price against the manufacturer’s heads.

The lower pack price doesn’t necessarily mean better value. Compare the cost per head you can actually use: if a generic wears out sooner or fits poorly, the savings can disappear. Without reliable durability information, price alone doesn’t tell you which option is the better buy.
Would you compare how quickly each option can be replaced, too? If a compatible generic is reliably available nearby or ships sooner, that convenience may matter when you need a new head. The manufacturer’s heads might be easier to find, though, so availability is worth checking for both rather than assuming the generic has the edge.
The similar product-line names make it especially important to check the exact handle model number against the replacement head’s compatibility list. A listing that names only the brand or a broad series doesn’t confirm it’ll fit, since models under similar names can use different attachments.
