"Honestly, I didn't notice much difference either. My dentist swears by them, but after a few months, I switched back to the oval ones."

Haha, glad I'm not alone in this! I went through something pretty similar. My dentist was super enthusiastic about me switching to electric brushes, especially the round heads. At first, I figured it was just a matter of getting used to it, but weeks later I still felt like I was polishing a trophy rather than brushing my teeth. Eventually, I decided to experiment with different heads and found the oval-shaped ones way more comfortable and less fussy. My teeth honestly feel just as clean, and I'm not stressing about technique every morning.

You're right—comfort really does matter most. The best toothbrush is probably the one you actually enjoy using enough to brush properly and consistently. Dentists mean well, but sometimes personal preference counts for a lot too. Glad you found what works best for you!

Interesting...do you think maybe the shape matters less than how you use it? I've seen patients who swear by electric brushes, but others do just fine with manual. Seems like consistency and comfort might be the real keys here.

I've wondered about that too...maybe it's more about brushing technique than the brush itself? My dentist mentioned timing matters a lot—like, do electric brushes just make it easier to brush long enough without getting bored? Curious what others think.

I switched to electric mostly because I got one on sale (budget life, lol), and honestly, the biggest difference for me was the built-in timer. Before that, I'd brush for what felt like forever, glance at the clock, and realize it had been like 30 seconds tops. Now, the toothbrush buzzes every 30 seconds to remind me to switch sides, and I actually brush the full two minutes without zoning out. Technique probably matters too, but for me, it's mostly about not getting bored halfway through and calling it quits early...

Haha, this is exactly me. I always thought I was brushing long enough until I timed myself once out of curiosity—barely hit 45 seconds. Got an electric toothbrush recently too (mostly because my dentist kept gently hinting at it every visit), and the timer thing is a game changer. But honestly, I'm still kinda anxious about whether I'm doing it right. Like, am I pressing too hard? Too soft? Is there some secret angle I'm missing? I swear, dental hygiene shouldn't feel this complicated... Glad to know I'm not the only one who zones out halfway through brushing though.
