Glad you mentioned the pressure thing—I thought it was just me being overly cautious! I've been worried about switching to generic heads, but your experience makes me feel a bit better about giving them a try...maybe I'll start slow and see how it goes.

I get the hesitation...but honestly, brand-name heads always gave me a little more peace of mind. Had a generic one crack once—probably just bad luck, but it made me cautious. Maybe you'll have better luck than me though!

Yeah, I totally get that. I've been rocking generic heads for a couple years now and mostly they've held up fine—but I did have one batch where the bristles started falling out super quick. Felt like brushing with a sad little hedgehog after a week, lol. I think it's just hit or miss with generics...brand-name definitely feels safer, but man, those prices sting. Lately, I've been checking reviews more carefully before buying random ones online—seems to help weed out the sketchy ones. Just gotta cross your fingers and hope you don't get the toothbrush equivalent of a lemon, haha.

Haha, that's exactly how I'd describe my last generic batch. I switched to electric about a year ago and tried saving money with off-brand heads—big mistake. One pack was great, but the next had bristles flying everywhere after just days. Now I stick mostly to brand-name sales or bulk deals online...hurts the wallet a bit, but at least no more surprise hedgehog brushes.

Haha, the hedgehog analogy is spot-on. I had a similar experience—grabbed some cheap replacement heads thinking "how bad could they be?" Turns out, pretty bad. One morning I found myself picking stray bristles out of my teeth like spinach...not exactly the fresh feeling I was aiming for.

I've been eyeing those bulk packs too, but I'm a bit hesitant after my last fiasco. Any particular brands or sellers you've found reliable?
