Why my dentist swears by electric toothbrushes (and now maybe I do too?)

Totally relate to the “mouth tingles”—I thought I was the only one making faces at first. Did you notice any changes in your gums or teeth after switching? For me, my gums stopped bleeding as much after a couple weeks.

I gotta say, I’m not totally convinced electric brushes are a miracle for everyone. I switched after my orthodontist recommended it (braces life...), but honestly, my gums didn’t improve much. I still had some bleeding and sensitivity, even with the fancy settings. Maybe my technique was off? Manual brushing just feels more controlled to me, especially around brackets and wires. I guess it really depends on what you’re dealing with—my teeth just seem to have a mind of their own.
