I went through something similar after my retreatment. For the first week or two, I was convinced the dentist had shaved down way too much because my bite felt totally off. Eating felt weird, and I kept checking in the mirror to see if it looked different (it didn't, lol). Eventually, I realized that constantly poking at it with my tongue and worrying about it was probably making things worse. Once I forced myself to stop obsessing over it, things gradually improved.

One thing that helped me was chewing slowly on the opposite side for a while to give the tooth a break. Also, using a sensitive toothpaste seemed to ease some of the discomfort. Did you try anything specific to help your tooth feel normal again? Curious if anyone else found certain tricks helpful during recovery...

Haha, guilty as charged... I did the same thing after mine. Honestly, switching to a softer toothbrush and chewing carefully on the other side saved me. Tooth paranoia is real, folks.
