Recently had a convo with my dentist about sealants, and he said they're good for like 5-10 years. But honestly, from my experience, some seem to wear out way sooner, especially if you're big on crunchy snacks or chewing ice (guilty as charged, lol). I found that being careful with certain foods and regular check-ups help them last longer, but um... mileage may vary. Curious if anyone has tips or noticed anything different themselves?

Haha, I can relate—I used to chew ice constantly and noticed my sealants wearing down quicker too. Cutting back helped a bit, but I'm curious if anyone's dentist recommended specific foods to avoid?
