my dentist mentioned my teeth could predict a heart attack?

So I was at the dentist yesterday, just routine cleaning, nothing special. And out of nowhere, he casually mentions something about how gum problems can actually signal heart issues. Like, what? I mean, I knew flossing was important and all that jazz, but never thought my gums could be like fortune tellers for my heart health. Got me thinking... imagine a story where dentists start predicting people's futures based on their gums. Could get pretty weird pretty fast, haha.

Haha, interesting idea... but seriously, while gum health can hint at heart issues, it's not exactly a crystal ball. I'd probably check with a cardiologist before worrying too much about dental predictions!

Haha, true... I mean, my dentist once warned me about gum inflammation being linked to heart health, but predicting an actual heart attack seems a bit of a stretch. I'd probably trust a cardiologist over dental fortune-telling any day.
