I've been dealing with some annoying gum soreness lately, nothing major but enough to bug me when I'm eating or brushing my teeth. You know how it is, right? Anyway, I read online that mouthwash can help reduce swelling and inflammation, but then my mom swears by the good ol' warm salt water rinse. She says it's natural and gentler on your gums.
I've tried both a couple times now. Mouthwash feels refreshing and clean, but sometimes it stings a bit too much for comfort. Salt water rinse feels soothing at first, but honestly tastes pretty gross... like ocean water in your mouth, lol.
Just curious what you guys prefer if you've ever had gum issues—do you go for the store-bought mouthwash or stick with the homemade salt rinse? And does one actually work better than the other for you?

Haha, totally get you on the ocean water taste—but honestly, salt rinses have always done wonders for me. Mouthwash feels too harsh sometimes and can irritate more than help. Worth sticking it out with salt water imo.
