Got this gum reshaping procedure done yesterday (dentist said it'd be a breeze, ha) and now I'm parked on the couch, ice pack on face, binge-watching old sitcoms. Thought I'd be munching chips by now, but nope—it's smoothies and soup city for me. Kinda bored already...anyone got funny recovery stories or weird smoothie combos to share?

Ha, been there! Had some gum work done last year, dentist made it sound like a quick afternoon thing. Ended up spending three days living off banana-avocado smoothies (surprisingly tasty combo, btw). My grandkids teased me relentlessly about my "baby food diet." Hang in there... sitcom reruns make the smoothies go down easier.
