So I've had Invisalign for about two weeks now, and honestly, sleeping with these things is a bit of a hassle. I mean, during the day it's fine, but at night I keep waking up feeling like my mouth is super dry or weirdly tight. And sometimes, I dunno, I wake up randomly worried I'll choke on them or something (I know that's probably dumb, but still...).
Also, does anyone else feel like their jaw is kinda sore in the morning? Maybe I'm clenching or grinding my teeth more because of the trays? Not sure if that's normal or if it's just me being paranoid.
I've tried drinking water right before bed, but then I end up waking up to pee at like 3 am, lol. So that's not exactly helping either.
Anyway, just curious how everyone else deals with this. Any tips or tricks to make sleeping a bit more comfortable with these trays in?

My daughter had the exact same issue when she first started Invisalign. She'd wake up complaining about jaw soreness and dryness too. Have you tried using a humidifier at night? It helped her a lot with the dry mouth thing. Also, her orthodontist mentioned that the soreness usually eases up after a few weeks as your jaw adjusts...hang in there, it gets better!
Totally relate to the jaw soreness thing, especially during the first couple weeks of Invisalign. I noticed that if I accidentally clenched my teeth at night (which apparently I do more than I realized), it made the soreness way worse in the morning. Someone suggested trying one of those thin, soft pillow inserts to help keep your head and neck aligned better while sleepingβdidn't completely fix it, but it definitely helped ease the tension a bit. Might be worth checking out if you haven't already...
