Haha, blended veggie chili sounds like quite the experiment...I remember trying to puree pasta once (don't recommend it, lol). Did anyone else find a surprising favorite meal combo during recovery? I ended up loving avocado blended into smoothies—creamy and filling without being overly sweet.

Avocado smoothies were a lifesaver for me too, especially since they're budget-friendly if you buy avocados in bulk when they're on sale. Another combo I stumbled upon was blending sweet potatoes with a bit of cinnamon and almond milk. Sounds odd, I know, but it turned out surprisingly tasty and comforting—almost like a dessert soup. Plus, sweet potatoes are pretty affordable and filling, so it helped stretch my grocery budget during recovery.

Speaking of pureed pasta disasters, I once tried blending lasagna...yeah, don't do that either. 😂 Did anyone else find certain foods that just didn't blend well no matter how hard you tried?

Haha, blended lasagna sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen. I once tried blending pizza—thought I was being clever, but nope, it was basically tomato-cheese sludge. Never again.

Actually, the sweet potato thing doesn't sound half bad. Wish I'd thought of that during my own liquid diet days. My go-to ended up being peanut butter and banana smoothies; they were calorie-dense enough to keep me feeling full for longer stretches. But man, did anyone else get sick of everything tasting sweet after a while? I remember desperately blending chicken broth with mashed potatoes just to have something savory... it wasn't terrible, but texture-wise, definitely questionable.

Curious if anyone ventured into blended salads or greens? I tried spinach once—let's just say it didn't end well.

Blended spinach... yeah, I feel you on that one. I tried kale once thinking it'd be a healthy boost, but it ended up tasting like bitter grass soup—couldn't stomach more than a few sips. Honestly, savory was the hardest part for me too. Did anyone manage to blend soups that actually tasted decent? I stuck mostly to creamy tomato bisque, but even that got old pretty fast.

I totally get what you're saying about savory soups...they can be tricky. Have you tried blending up potato leek soup? It's creamy, budget-friendly, and mild enough to sip without feeling overwhelmed. Helped me a lot when tomato bisque got repetitive.
