I blended avocado into my shakes a few times after my surgery, and honestly, it wasn't bad at all. It made the texture super creamy and smooth, almost like a milkshake. But heads up—avocado flavor can be a bit strong if you use too much. I learned that the hard way when my chocolate shake tasted suspiciously like guacamole one morning... moderation is key, lol. Definitely beats tomato soup round-the-clock, though.

I tried the avocado thing too, but honestly, I was way too cautious and barely put any in at first. Like maybe a tablespoon or something? 😂 Could barely taste it, but the texture was pretty nice. I was just super paranoid about getting chunks stuck in my wires or something, even though it was blended smooth... Anyway, totally feel you on the tomato soup burnout. At one point, I legit started dreaming about solid foods. Hang in there—at least we're not alone in this weird liquid-food journey, lol.

Haha, same here with the avocado paranoia—I started with like half a teaspoon, no joke. Eventually got braver and added banana too, which helped mask the taste and made it creamier. Tomato soup burnout is real though... I switched to blended potato leek soup for a change of pace. Hang in there!

Haha, avocado paranoia is definitely a thing—I remember being convinced I'd taste it no matter how little I added. Did you ever try blending in some frozen mango or berries? I found that helped mask the avocado even better than banana, plus it gave a nice refreshing twist.

Totally feel you on the tomato soup burnout too. Potato leek sounds like a solid choice—did you add any herbs or spices to change it up? I got really into blended butternut squash soup for a while, especially with a pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon. It felt like dessert after weeks of savory soups.

Also, random tip from experience: have you tried blending cottage cheese or Greek yogurt into your smoothies or soups? Sounds weird, I know, but it adds protein and makes things creamier without a strong taste. Saved me from feeling hungry all the time.

Hang in there, you're doing great. It gets easier, promise.

Honestly, I get the logic behind adding cottage cheese or yogurt for protein, but I'd be cautious about it post-surgery. Dairy can sometimes thicken mucus and make your mouth feel a bit sticky or uncomfortable—at least that's what happened to me. Maybe it's just my paranoia kicking in again, but I found plant-based proteins like silken tofu or even a spoonful of almond butter easier on my mouth and throat during recovery.

Potato leek soup sounds comforting though. If you're getting bored with herbs and spices, have you thought about roasting the veggies first? Roasting leeks and potatoes before blending gives a deeper flavor without needing extra seasoning. Helped me get through those endless soup days...
