That leaky tank thing is exactly why I switched, too. For my kiddo, I had to be extra careful—her hands aren’t strong enough to deal with a slippery, leaking flosser first thing in the morning. Here’s what worked for us:

1. We swapped to a model with a removable tank (easier to clean, less mold).
2. I started her on the lowest pressure setting and only bumped it up after a few weeks—her gums definitely needed time.
3. We dry out the tank after every use to avoid that constant dribble.

Honestly, even with all that, she still finds it tickly sometimes... but at least we’re not mopping up water every morning.

That tank dribble is seriously the worst—my old one left puddles on the counter every single time, and I’d just given up trying to keep it dry. Haven’t tried the removable tank yet, but that sounds way easier to clean. My kid also cracks up at the “tickle” feeling, which makes mornings a bit chaotic. Have you noticed if drying out the tank actually helps with that weird mildew smell? That’s been my biggest gripe lately...
