I learned the hard way that certain eating habits can really mess up your teeth. Had a friend who struggled with bulimia for a while, and she mentioned her dentist noticed enamel erosion pretty early on. She started rinsing her mouth with water mixed with baking soda after episodes to neutralize the acid. Apparently, brushing right after can make things worse. Thought I'd share in case it helps someone else. Anyone got other tips or experiences?

I had no idea brushing right after could actually make things worse... that's kinda scary. Reminds me of when I used to snack on lemons constantly (weird habit, I know). My teeth started feeling super sensitive, especially to cold drinks. When I finally went to the dentist, she said the acid from lemons was literally eating away at my enamel. Who knew something natural could do that much damage? Now I'm paranoid about acidic foods in general and always rinse with water afterward.
