There’s something about the warmth and simplicity of saltwater that made things less stressful.

I get what you mean, but I’ve always been a bit paranoid about infections after dental work. My dentist insisted on a gentle, alcohol-free mouthwash after my last root canal. Honestly, I was nervous—it stung a bit at first, but I liked knowing it was killing germs. Maybe it’s just my anxiety talking, but saltwater felt “too simple” for me... like I was missing some extra protection. Guess we all find comfort in different routines.
