I've always hated flossing, like seriously dreaded it every night. A month ago I switched to using a Waterpik thingy instead, and today at my check-up my dentist actually complimented me on how healthy my gums looked. First time ever, lol. Honestly didn't expect much difference but um... pleasantly surprised. Curious if anyone else switched and saw similar results or if I'm just lucky here.

Haha same here, flossing always felt like a chore I conveniently "forgot" most nights. Switched to a Waterpik about six months ago and my dentist legit asked if I'd finally started flossing regularly... awkward silence ensued. Guess we're onto something!
Haha, I feel this. I used to dread flossing so much I'd literally bargain with myself—like, "okay, floss tonight and you can skip tomorrow." Never worked. Got braces last year and switched to a Waterpik out of pure desperation... total game changer. Dentist actually complimented my gum health last visit, which was a first. Curious though, anyone notice if it helps with plaque buildup behind permanent retainers? That's still my nemesis...

Yeah, Waterpik definitely helps behind retainers—at least for me. Had mine forever and flossing there was a nightmare... now I just blast it away. Dentist seems happy, gums feel better, life's good lol.
