I've always hated the clutter of toothbrushes scattered around the sink, especially when guests come over and it's like a toothbrush convention in there. Recently, I stuck one of those small magnetic strips inside the medicine cabinet door and glued tiny magnets to the handles—boom, instant hidden storage. Looks tidy and feels kinda futuristic, haha. Curious if anyone else has clever ways to keep their toothbrushes organized or hidden away...

That's pretty clever, actually. I went a simpler route myself. Got tired of the toothbrush chaos too, especially with kids leaving theirs everywhere. I grabbed a cheap utensil organizer from the dollar store, the kind you'd normally use for forks and spoons, and stuck it in a bathroom drawer. Each toothbrush gets its own little compartment, toothpaste fits in there too, and the whole mess stays hidden away. Not futuristic, but it works and cost me like two bucks total. Plus, guests never have to see our toothbrush collection again...

That's a pretty neat idea with the utensil organizer—I never would've thought of repurposing kitchen stuff for toothbrushes. Honestly, as someone who sees toothbrush setups all day at work, you'd think I'd have some genius solution at home, but nope... my family's toothbrushes still end up scattered around the sink half the time. I did try one of those wall-mounted holders once, thinking it'd solve everything, but it just became another thing to clean (and trust me, toothpaste residue is stubborn stuff).

Your magnetic strip trick sounds intriguing though. I'm curious—do the magnets hold up well over time? I wonder if moisture from showers or steam would eventually weaken the glue or rust the magnets. Either way, props for creativity. Might have to experiment with something similar myself... anything to avoid the dreaded toothbrush clutter.

I feel your pain on the toothpaste residue—it's like cement once it dries, isn't it? I've never tried magnets myself, but a friend did something similar in her bathroom. She said the magnets held up surprisingly well, though she did have to replace the adhesive backing after about a year because of the humidity. Still, sounds like less hassle than scrubbing those wall-mounted holders every week... might be worth a shot!

The magnet idea sounds practical, but knowing my kids, they'd probably lose the magnets or find a way to break something. I gave up on those wall-mounted holders ages ago—cleaning dried toothpaste off them was a nightmare. Now I just keep a simple plastic cup tucked away in the medicine cabinet. It's nothing fancy, but it keeps the clutter out of sight, and when it gets gross, I just toss it in the dishwasher.

I've also seen people use utensil organizers—the kind you'd normally put forks and spoons in. My sister-in-law does this in her bathroom drawer, and it actually works pretty well. Each toothbrush has its own little compartment, so they don't touch each other, and it's easy enough for the kids to manage. Plus, when guests come over, you just close the drawer and no one sees the mess.

Honestly, whatever you choose, just make sure it's easy to clean. I've tried some elaborate storage solutions before, and if it's too complicated or hard to maintain, it just ends up being more trouble than it's worth. The simpler, the better, in my experience.
