I hear you on the magnets—sounds clever, but knowing me, I'd probably knock one into the sink or something. I actually tried the utensil organizer thing for a bit, but it weirded me out seeing toothbrushes next to where forks usually go...just couldn't shake that feeling, haha. Now I just stick mine upright in a regular mug on the counter. Not fancy, but at least I can see it clearly and remember to replace it regularly (dentist's orders!).
