I've always had this small gap between my front teeth—not huge, but enough to bug me whenever I saw photos. Anyway, finally decided to try clear aligners and after just a few months, it's pretty much gone. Honestly didn't expect it to work so well or so fast, you know? Feels kinda weird smiling in the mirror now, lol. Curious if anyone else had a similar experience with minor fixes like this.

Haha, I totally get that weird feeling after fixing something minor with your smile. Had this one tooth slightly overlapping another—barely noticeable to anyone else, but drove me nuts. Got aligners too, and now it's straightened out. But honestly... I kinda miss my quirky tooth sometimes? Ever feel like your "imperfections" sorta grew on you after a while?

I get what you're saying, but honestly, I never really felt attached to my imperfections like that. Had a similar issue—a small gap between my front teeth—and got it fixed recently. Thought I'd maybe miss it or something, but nope...haven't looked back at all. Maybe it's just me, but once something bugs me enough to fix it, I'm usually pretty relieved when it's gone. Do you think you actually miss the tooth itself or just the familiarity of seeing it every day? Curious if it's more nostalgia than genuine fondness.

Could be nostalgia, yeah...but maybe it's also just the weirdness of change? Like when you rearrange furniture and keep bumping into stuff for a week. Did you feel instantly comfortable with your new smile or did it take some getting used to?

Had a similar thing done a couple years back—took me a while to stop noticing the difference every time I glanced in the mirror. Did you have any issues with sensitivity afterward, or was it pretty smooth overall?
