Okay, so I just started my Invisalign journey a couple weeks ago and I'm still figuring out the best way to keep these things from getting gross. I've heard everything from special cleaning tablets to just plain ol' toothpaste and water. Personally, I've been soaking mine in denture cleaner tablets every morning while I shower—seems to work pretty well so far, but I'm curious what everyone else does.

Quick poll: How do you usually clean your aligners?
- Toothbrush & toothpaste
- Denture cleaning tablets
- Special aligner cleaning solution
- Just water (um... brave)
- Something else (share below!)

I've been using a toothbrush and toothpaste combo since I started mine about a month ago. Honestly, it does the job pretty well, but I do notice they get a bit cloudy after a while. I've thought about trying those denture tablets you're using, but I'm paranoid they'll taste weird afterward... do they? Might have to give them a shot if they're working for you.

I've been using denture tablets for my daughter's aligners for a couple months now, and honestly, I was worried about the same thing at first. Surprisingly, there's no weird aftertaste at all... just make sure you rinse them really well afterward. It definitely helps with that cloudy look you're mentioning. I totally get being cautious though—I'm always anxious about trying new stuff too—but this one's been pretty reassuring so far. Hope it works out if you decide to give it a try!

I was super nervous about denture tablets too at first... kept picturing some weird minty aftertaste or something. But honestly, they've been great. I rinse mine extra carefully, and no issues yet. Definitely less cloudy than before, which is a relief since I'm always paranoid about them looking gross.

I've been using denture tablets too, and honestly, they're a lifesaver. At first, I was just brushing mine with toothpaste, but they started looking cloudy pretty quickly. Then my dentist mentioned the tablets, and I figured I'd give them a shot. I was worried about the taste lingering or something weird like that, but nope—just rinse them well and they're good to go.

One thing I've noticed though is that if I leave them soaking too long (like overnight), they feel kinda brittle or something? Maybe it's just me being paranoid, but now I stick to about 15-20 minutes tops while I'm getting ready in the morning. Seems to do the trick without any issues.

Also, quick tip: make sure you're using lukewarm water instead of hot. Learned that one the hard way when my aligner warped slightly after rinsing it under hot water... rookie mistake, lol.
