Thinking about subtle teeth fixes—anyone else tried these?

I've always had this one tooth that's just a tiny bit crooked, nothing major, but enough to bug me in photos. Anyway, I recently tried those clear aligner things (not the big brand ones, but a cheaper online company). Honestly, they're pretty comfy and easy to use, but I'm only about halfway through and sometimes I wonder if it's really making much difference. Like, some days I swear it's straighter, other days I'm like "nah, still crooked." 😂

Also, the whole taking them out every time you eat or drink anything other than water is kinda annoying. I've definitely forgotten a few times and panicked thinking I'd ruined everything.

Curious if anyone else has tried something similar for just minor tweaks? Did it actually work for you or am I just imagining progress here?

I get the appeal of clear aligners, but for something minor like that one tooth, have you considered dental bonding instead? I had a similar issue—just one slightly crooked tooth—and bonding fixed it in one quick session. No aligners, no hassle with eating or drinking. Might be worth looking into if you're not seeing clear results yet...

I've been thinking about bonding too, but doesn't it chip or stain easily over time? I've heard mixed things about how long it lasts. Did your dentist mention anything about durability or maintenance? I'm a bit anxious about committing to something that might need constant touch-ups or replacements down the line.

Also, with aligners, even if they're slow, aren't they supposed to give you a more permanent fix since they're actually moving your teeth into place? I mean, bonding sounds great for a quick fix, but what happens if your teeth shift slightly later on—wouldn't that make the bonding look off?

I'm genuinely curious because I'm in a similar boat—just one tooth that's bugging me—but I'm hesitant to jump into anything without knowing exactly what I'm getting into. Did you notice any downsides after getting bonding done, like sensitivity or anything weird when eating? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to figure out the best route here...
