I've always had sensitive teeth, but recently it's gotten worse. Cold drinks, hot coffee, even breathing in chilly air sometimes gives me that sharp, ouch feeling, you know? Anyways, toothpaste for sensitive teeth has helped a little, but I'm wondering if mouthwash could help more. Problem is, most mouthwashes I've tried feel like they're burning my mouth off, lol. Definitely not what I'm looking for.
I've seen some milder or alcohol-free options at the store, but I'm hesitant to buy stuff randomly without knowing if it actually works. Has anyone had luck with a gentle mouthwash that's good for sensitive teeth? Or maybe some natural remedies or something I haven't thought of yet? I'm open to suggestions cause this tooth sensitivity thing is getting old real quick.
I feel you on the burning mouthwash thing...my daughter had similar issues. We switched to an alcohol-free fluoride rinse (ACT Sensitive, I think?), and it seemed to help a bit more than just toothpaste alone. Might be worth a shot.
