Lukewarm oatmeal, huh? Never thought I'd see oatmeal as a comfort food, but hey, whatever works. For me, room-temp mashed potatoes were the real MVP—soft, bland (in a good way), and zero irritation. Totally second the pillow stacking though, saved me from looking like a chipmunk the next morning...

Haha, pillow stacking is seriously underrated. Another thing that helped me was sipping chamomile tea (lukewarm, of course)—really soothing and seemed to speed up healing somehow. Hang in there, it gets better pretty quick.

Chamomile tea can be soothing for sure, but I'd actually be careful with warm drinks right after a biopsy. Even lukewarm stuff can sometimes increase blood flow to the area and prolong swelling or bleeding. Usually, we recommend sticking to cool or room-temp liquids for the first day or two. Ice packs (wrapped in a towel!) are your best friend early on. But yeah, pillow stacking is definitely a solid tip—gravity does wonders overnight. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Good point about the warm drinks—I hadn't really thought of that. When my daughter had hers, we stuck mostly to cold smoothies and popsicles for the first couple days, seemed to help with the swelling quite a bit. Didn't try chamomile tea till about day three or four, and even then, it was barely warm. Did anyone else find certain foods or drinks especially helpful or problematic in those first few days? Curious what worked for others...

Totally agree, cold stuff really helps. Yogurt was a lifesaver for me—smooth, cool, and gentle on the sore spots. Just avoid anything acidic like citrus or pineapple... learned that the hard way.
