"Hang in there, it does get better...just takes patience and lots of trial and error."
Totally agree with this. For me, cold yogurt was a lifesaver one day, but weirdly painful the next. It's frustrating, but your mouth really does heal at its own pace...just gotta be gentle with yourself.
Interesting, yogurt never really worked for me...actually made things feel worse. I found lukewarm chamomile tea way more soothingβsomething about it just calmed everything down. Everyone's different though, so it's definitely trial and error like you said. Just gotta keep experimenting gently until you find what clicks.

Chamomile tea worked pretty well for me too, but I also found rinsing gently with warm salt water helped speed things up. It reduces inflammation and keeps the area clean without irritating it further. Just make sure it's not too salty or hot...that can sting a bit. Like you said though, everyone's different, so gentle experimentation is key.
Chamomile and salt water rinses are both solid suggestions. Another thing I've seen help patients is aloe vera juiceβit has natural anti-inflammatory properties and can feel really soothing on sensitive tissue. Just make sure it's pure aloe without additives or sugars. Has anyone tried aloe rinses after their biopsy? Curious how it worked out...
Chamomile and salt water were my go-tos after my biopsy, but aloe juice sounds interesting. Never tried it myselfβmostly because pure aloe juice at my local health store costs about as much as a tank of gas, lol. I did try something similar though: chilled cucumber slices. Sounds weird, I know, but hear me out. Cucumbers have anti-inflammatory properties too, and they're way cheaper. I'd slice them thin, chill them in the fridge, then gently hold them against the sore area. Felt pretty soothing and helped with swelling.
Not sure if it actually sped up healing or just distracted me from the discomfort, but hey, placebo effect counts for something, right? Plus, bonus points for looking like you're having a spa day instead of recovering from a biopsy...
