Haha, cucumbers sound like a genius moveβbonus points for creativity. I went a slightly different route after my biopsy: frozen tea bags. Hear me out... brew some chamomile tea, let the bags cool, then pop them in the freezer for about 20 mins. Hold gently against the sore spot. Feels soothing, reduces swelling, and you get to look like you're casually sipping tea instead of nursing a biopsy wound. Win-win.

Wait, frozen tea bags? That's definitely one I haven't heard before. Did you find it helped with pain too, or mostly just swelling? I'm scheduled for mine next week and honestly feeling pretty nervous. Also, does chamomile taste decent cold? Might as well get a drink out of it if I'm brewing tea anyway...

I tried the frozen chamomile tea bag trick after my biopsy last yearβhonestly, it wasn't bad. I mostly noticed it helped with swelling and irritation rather than actual pain relief. For pain, I stuck to ibuprofen as recommended by my doc. Chamomile tastes okay cold, kinda mild and earthy...not exactly refreshing iced tea material, but drinkable enough if you're already brewing it anyway. Good luck next week, it's really not as bad as it sounds!
Totally agree about the ibuprofen, that's what worked best for me too. Did anyone else's doc recommend salt water rinses? Mine told me to do that gently a few times a dayβcheap and easy enough, but I was worried it'd sting. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt much at all...and seemed to speed things up healing-wise. Chamomile tea bags sound interesting though, wish I'd thought of that earlier. How long did you keep them frozen before using them?
I didn't freeze mine solid, just popped them in the freezer for maybe 15-20 mins till they were nice and cold. Worked greatβmy daughter said it felt soothing, not too icy. Did you try regular tea bags too, or just chamomile?
